Patricia Duarte is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Decision Insight, Inc. a management consultancy specializing in Organizational Development, HR, Transition Management, Training and Executive Search. The consulting practice is based on a progressive management philosophy that draws from thought leader research and 25 years of experience working with corporate companies and nonprofit agencies. Her corporate resume include positions as: HR Manager, Cray Research Inc, Eagan, Minnesota; HR Director, Silicon Graphics, Inc. Mountain View, California; HR Vice President, eBusiness Technologies, Providence, Rhode Island. Patricia’s experience also includes international staffing and building teams for US based companies in the UK and as an officer on the Board of Directors of a technology start-up venture based in Toronto, Canada.
In 2006, Patricia joined the Executive Transitions Program of Third Sector New England, a selected pool of independent OD consultants providing search and transition management services to non-profits in MA, RI, and CT. Her work and reputation with TSNE clients led to the expansion of her practice to schools, universities, state funded agencies and municipalities.
In addition to being an experienced HRM consultant, skilled recruiter and executive search consultant, Patricia designs and delivers training workshops, teambuilding and strategic planning retreats. With a keen understanding of organizational dynamics, change and transition management issues, her approach, tools and methods demonstrate cultural competency and ensure inclusion in all aspects of her work. Patricia is certified in and a practitioner of various assessment tools and facilitation methods including Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) Technology of Participation (ToP) Group Facilitation Methods, Executive Transition Management, High Impact Hiring, and Lominger Leadership Development Architecture.
Patricia is a founding member of the Metro West (Boston) Business Advisors, serves on the Personnel Board of the Town of Hopkinton, MA and as Volunteer Director of the Hopkinton Community Education Program. Patricia holds a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Cincinnati with post-graduate work in business.
