Dr. Andy Erlich has dedicated his life to building bridges between people. Since 1979, his dynamic keynotes and cultural immersions have inspired audiences across the globe to embrace the power and creativity of change, welcome and support human differences, and experience the rich rewards that come with recognizing and celebrating human diversity.

The insights, exercises and tools that Andy brings to his speaking engagements are drawn from his more than 30-year career as a clinical psychologist and his in- depth research and real-world experiences exploring cross-cultural and multi- generational communications, organizational development and motivational analysis.

Dr. Andy Erlich is a clinical psychologist, renowned author, motivational speaker, consultant and a certified yoga instructor. Throughout his career as a psychologist, Andy pursued his deep interest in how our differences both connect and divide us. This led to a parallel career as a consultant and award-winning motivational speaker, offering keynote addresses, training exercises and cultural immersion experiences to preeminent organizations worldwide.

Andy shared his unique insights about the intersection of psychology and culture in his first two books, Selling to Latinos and Exploring Culture: How to do Business with 17 Cultural and Religious Groups. In his third book, The Long Shadows: The Story of Jake Erlich, Andy offers a moving tribute to the life of his remarkable uncle, Jacob Reuben Erlich. A true-life novel about how he overcame the challenges of an 8 foot 6 frame to win admiration and respect as a circus performer, silent film star, artist, poet, vaudevillian and business executive.

Dr. Erlich’s unique combination of psychological skills and cultural and multi-generational insights has proven to be extremely appealing to the media, with several outlets frequently calling upon him as a contributor to national news and business publications. His byline has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Adweek Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine and Advertising Age, among others. His expert commentary has also been featured in Forbes, USA Today, Business Week, Newsweek and The New York Times.

As a media personality, Andy has appeared as a featured guest on local, national and international Spanish-language television and radio programs, including Univision’s “El 15% de los Estados Unidos,” a 2006 Peabody-award winning series and “La Nueva California,” a 19-part television series about the Latino population. He also served as a consultant for the Oscar- and Emmy Award-winning film, “Number Our Days,” which examines the challenges and promises of healthy aging.

In 2010 and 2011, Speakers Platform awarded Dr. Erlich the prestigious “Top5 Speaker” designation. He also earned the “Platinum Speaker” designation offered by Meeting Planners International.

Andy was raised in El Paso, Texas, where he became fluent in both English and Spanish. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Texas, he attended graduate school at the California School of Professional Psychology, where he earned his Masters (1976) and Doctorate (1979). Andy is a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Erlich lives in Scottsdale with his wife Robin. He has two children, Ben and Danielle.
