Earlier this year, Inc. magazine posted a simple and straightforward article online about companies starting a mentoring program.

“Mentoring uses the resources your company already has to improve employee satisfaction,
develop leadership, and teach new skills. Here’s how to start your company program.”

This article spoke to the growing need for help in leadership development, retention, and the relatively “low-hanging fruit” of on-boarding and engagement.  The key is always in the match, as finding individuals within the organization that are suited to be mentors or mentees, and see the value in the relationship, can be challenging.
